Shop with dwelling over, now shop and offices. Earlier C18,
altered in C19 and in C20. Hand-made brick painted white,
slate roof. double-depth plan with courtyard entry to right.
Three storeys and 3 windows, with 2-course brick bands at 1st
and 2nd floors; C20 shop front at ground floor, and to the
right of this basket-arched wagon entry with a small cast-iron
plate in the top left corner lettered "COURT No 5", and
stop-chamfered ceiling beams to the covered way; 3 large
4-pane sashes at 1st floor and 2 smaller ones at 2nd floor,
all with raised sills and exposed boxes. Large axial chimney
stack on ridge. Various added back extensions. INTERIOR
altered.
