House, now office. Early C19 with C20 alterations. Brick with
ashlar dressings; slate roof with brick end stacks.
Double-depth plan. Georgian style. 3 storeys; symmetrical
3-window range. Ground floor altered, with concrete band
above; top modillioned cornice. Entrance has doorcase with
architrave, frieze and consoled swan-neck pediment.
Ground-floor windows have sills and small-paned glazing; upper
windows have sills, and rubbed brick flat arches over 16-pane
sashes to 1st floor, 8-pane sashes to 2nd floor. Pair of end
stacks. Rear has segmental-headed windows and small hipped
wing; later single-storey wing. Interior: altered. Included
for group value.
