House, now shop. C17 or earlier, with C18 and C19 alterations. Painted brick; timber-frame; turnerized slate roof, gabled and continuing to rear, to left. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range: 8/8 sashes in moulded frames with stone sills under brick segmental arches. C20 shop front; brick band over. Rear has half-glazed 2 panel door to left; various C19 and C20 sashes and casements; brick modillion eaves. INTERIOR: late C17/early C18 staircase with turned balusters and square newels; some exposed timber-framing and chamfered ceiling beams. C18 dogleg staircase with moulded rail and string, and turned balusters. 2nd floor: exposed purlins. 1st floor: exposed C17 timber-framing and chamfered ceiling beams. Ground floor: chamfered ceiling beams.
