House. Early C18 with mid C17 parallel rear range. Render;
timber-frame and render; Welsh slate and composite tile twin
span roof; brick corner stack and massive stack to front
range; brick lateral stack to rear range.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, with attic to rear range; 2-window range:
cross-windows with some leaded lights, and C19 casements.
Central plank door, flanked by C19, 2-light casements;
rendered storeyband. Right returned side has C20 casement;
rear range has various C19 and C20 casements.
INTERIOR: oak winder stair to attic. Attic: much reused timber
to C18 roof. 1st floor: C18 fireplace; exposed timber-framing
(with wattle-and-daub infill) to partition wall; plank doors;
C18 fireplace, with hob-grate; stop-chamfered beam and plate;
C18 window-furniture; 2-panel door; C19 fireplace; exposed
timber-framing; 5 plank doors. Ground floor: ogee
stop-chamfered ceiling beam; dado-rail; 2-panel door; plank
door; bolection-moulded cast-iron tiled fireplace; splayed
stone fireplace.
