House. Early C19. Painted brick; Welsh slate roof; central
brick ridge stack.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 3-window range: late C19, 6/6 sashes
under segmental arches, with louvred shutters; 4/8 sashes
over; paired brackets to eaves. Central half-glazed panelled
door and fanlight, with plain stucco architrave; to right, 1,
to left, 2, 8/8 sashes, under segmental arches; cast-iron
verandah overall.
Projecting wing to right: later C19; painted brick with stucco
quoins; hipped slate gable roof; brick stack to left rear; 3
storeys; single window range: 2/2 sash with moulded stucco
architrave and flat hood on enriched consoles; similar mullion
window over, with plain sashes; paired brackets to eaves.
Left returned side has late C19, 2/2 sashes to 1st and 2nd
floors; right returned side has 2 casements under segmental
arches to ground floor; spurstones. Rear has 2/2 sashes and
margin-glazed staircase window.
INTERIOR: C19 dogleg staircase with stick balusters to 2nd
floor. 2nd floor: front, C19 cast-iron fireplace; two 4- and
6-panel doors. 1st floor: 4-panel doors and architraves.
Ground floor: coved ceiling with roses; wall cupboard; 4-panel
door; shutters. Cellar: stone-lined, cobbled floor.
