HELSTON

SW6427 FIVE WELLS LANE
631-1/4/127 The Five Wells well head
22/05/72

GV II

Well head at spring. 1730 date and inscription to Thomas Cook
MA. Elvan ashlar with granite steps and coping surmounted by
wrought-iron railings. Convex-on-plan retaining wall with
centre broken forward. The water source is a central
rectangular niche. Wide steps with cobbles edged with granite
kerbs.
