House, now restaurant. C17 or early C18 origins with early C19
refronting. Painted brick; tile roof with brick stacks. 3
storeys; 4-window range. Top modillioned brick cornice.
Entrance to left of centre has segmental-pointed head and door
with strap hinges; entrance to right of centre has segmental
head. Segmental-headed windows to ground floor: 4-light
casement to left end, 3-light casement, and two 2-light
casements to right end; 1st floor has similar windows,
casements of 3:2:3:2 lights; 2nd floor has 2-light and 3-light
casements and end canted timber oriels with hipped roofs under
gables with wide verges. Left end stack and stack to roof
slope. Rear has later additions. INTERIOR: chamfered beams and
joists.
