Town house, now surgery. c1600. Timber-frame with plaster
infill; tile roof with brick end stacks. 2 storeys plus attic;
2-window range; the upper storey jettied. Pair of early C19
entrances to centre, one blocked to right, the other with
leaded overlight to 6-panel door; Tudor-headed entry to left
end has unglazed overlight, carved spandrels and plank door
with strap hinges. C19 windows to ground floor, to left a
1:3:1-light bay window with transom and leaded glazing; to
right a canted bay window with leaded upper lights and frieze
and cornice. 1st floor has 3-light casements each with small
flanking 2-light windows, probably original; attic has 3-light
windows in gables; all windows with leaded glazing. Good late
C19 rainwater head. Large C20 rear wing. INTERIOR: some
chamfered beams. At one time divided into 2 houses.
