Town house, now hotel. 1833-4. Stuccoed brick with ashlar
dressings; hipped slate roof with brick rear and return
stacks. Double-depth plan. Regency style. 2 storeys;
symmetrical 3-window range. Angle pilaster strips and wide
eaves soffit. Entrance has Doric aedicule with triglyph frieze
and guttae, overlight with decorative glazing bars to
half-glazed, small-paned door. Windows have sills, and
consoled cornices over 12-pane sashes. Returns have some
truncated stacks; left return has former coach house attached
to rear, with hipped roof, wide segmental-headed entrance and
1st-floor window with 16-pane sash.
