10/18 Rose Cottage

GV II

Cottage. Dated 1724. Squared coursed limestone with quoins and coped gables.
C20-tile roof with stone and brick end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys plus
attic; 2-window range of C19 tripartite sashes with stone flat arches to ground
floor and C20 casements to first floor. C19 plank door to centre with stone flat
arch. Datestone to first floor centre is inscribed '1724/D/RM'. One C20 gabled
dormer. C19 three-light casements to rear. C19 one-storey extension to right.
Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
