House and barn. Late C17, single storey house raised to 2 storeys in the mid C18
probably when barn was built. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof with coped gable.
Long 4-bay 2-storey front has to first bay large quoins, 3-light flat facet mullioned
window with same over, doorway with monolithic jamb; second bay has 5-light mullioned
window with same over; 3rd bay has steps up to first floor taking-in door at division
between the two occupations and 2-light windows to both floors (mullions removed);
4th bay has 4-light window with came over (2 mullions removed) with late C18 mullioned
windows of 3 lights over. Barn has segmental headed arch with composite jambs and
gutter brackets.
