2 houses. 1893. By Douglas and Fordham. Brick with stone
dressings, tile roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays, 1st 2 bays project
under gable, 2nd 2 bays have hipped roof, the 4th bay
breaking forward under shaped gable. Stone drip moulds,
coped gables with flush bands and quoins to 1st and 2nd
bays, end weathered stone buttress, some diapering to 1st
and 2nd bays. Windows have leaded glazing, 1st bay has 2-
light double-chamfered-mullioned windows, other bays have
elliptical-headed lights to mullioned windows; ground floor
windows of one light to 3rd bay, 3 lights to 4th bay, 1st
floor has windows of 1 light to 2nd and 3rd bays; of 3
lights to 4th bay. Plaque to 4th bay has date, strapwork
and mask. Entrance to 2nd bay has segmental pointed head,
3rd bay has decorated lintel, plank doors have strap hinges
and 2 leaded lights. 1st and 2nd bays have corbelled
gable-end stack with 2 diagonal shafts. Left return
similar, lateral stack with abutting half-gabled dormer.
