Calvertcote, house and attached cottage

House and cottage under 1 roof. C17 with C18 alterations. Watershot
coursed rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 3 first floor windows in
all. House: 2 first floor windows, openings have ashlar surrounds.
Central doorway with 4-panel door, C17 datestone reputedly in wall above
hidden by ivy. 4-pane sash windows. End stacks. Cottage to right: on
ground floor, door and 4-pane sash window; on first floor, window as
house. End stack. Shaped kneelers and ashlar copings overall. Rear:
projecting through-stones. Left return has blocked doorway with ashlar
surround, and sash window with glazing bars in ashlar surround, both
associated with shop formerly in end of building.
