Cottage. C17, and late C18. Mixed walling materials, and a tile roof. A
timber-framed building, with some recladding; front (east) of 2 storeys and
attic, 2 windows. Plain roof, with catslide at rear, prominant stack to the
south gable, with an oven. Exposed frame at the front and south side, with
infilling of brick (some herringbone), plaster and stone, above a stone base:
other walling of stone with brick dressings (all painted): the south gable is
tile-hung above the ground floor, with a fish-scale band and a tilt. There are
3 sliding sashes, otherwise small casements. Boarded door in a plain frame.
C20 outshot at the north side, with a boarded front.
