House, now pair of cottages. C16 with C18 & C19 additions. Timber-framed,
having brick infill with additions in brick with render to whole of rear.
Roof thatched and tiled. Front 1½ storeys on brick plinth with bottom
panels of frame filled with alternating courses of brick and flint. 4 bays
with 2 centre bays timber-framed, C18 bay with lean-to to right, and C19
bay to left. Doors in lean-to and C19 bay. All windows C19 with small sash
and 2-light casement in oldest part, and 2-light casement in left bay.
Eyebrow dormer in right bay and 2-light casements in 2 gabled dormers
over centre bays. Roof is steep pitched, half hipped at right end. Tiles
around dormer windows with thatch laid over, and decorated ridge piece.
Gable end stacks and large stack over left bay of timber-framed part.
