9/14 Nesbit Cottage


GV II

Estate house. c.l870. Painted dressed stone with ashlar quoins and surrounds.
Welsh slate roof. L-shaped. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Doorway, set in partly-projecting,
partly-recessed porch, has chamfered surround and shield above. Small lean-to
stone roof.

Cross-gabled projecting right bay has 3-light mullioned window in slightly-projecting
square bay with stone pent roof. 2-light mullioned windows elsewhere.

Gabled roof with kneelers and ridged and roll-moulded coping. One quadruple
conjoined and corniced ridge stack. Similar chimneys on cross wing.
