Detached house. C17. Plastered cob walls, ½-hipped thatched roof, plastered stack
just off centre. One storey and attic. Later rear lean-to, now contains entrance.
On front elevation, ground floor has 2 casement windows with lead lights, one with
cast iron glazing, and one with centre glazing bar. Attic has four ½-dormers with
casements with glazing bars. C20 brick single-storey extension on right, contains
garage doors and one metal window. Angle buttress at junction with main building.
Some exposed chamfered ceiling beams. RCHM Monument 5 (Dorset, Vol.III).
