9/76 Cotswold Cottage

GV II

Semi-detached cottage adjoining Beverley Cottage (q.v.). Mid C17.
Small blocks coursed squared and dressed limestone w-ith dressed
stone quoins; stone slate roof; ashlar stack. Rectangular main
body with extension at right angles to rear. 1½ storeys. Gablet
facing road: 3-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement
with stopped hood to the ground floor; similar window to the
gablet; blocked doorway to the left of the ground floor window.
Two C20 two-light steel casements with leaded panes to the left
gable end. C20 gabled stone-built porch to the left of the ground
floor window. Three-light steel casement and a hipped 2-light roof
dormer to the extension to the rear. Single axial stack with a
moulded capping. Interior not inspected.
