Detached house. C17 origin, altered and enlarged C18 and later. Stone walls,
thatched roof, brick and stone stacks. One storey and attics. Single-storey
extensions at each end, of similar construction. Ledged door in south extension.
Ground floor has six casement windows with glazing bars. Attic has three dormers
with similar casements. Old village fire ladder fixed on front wall. Internally,
one ground floor room has large open fireplace with timber lintel. Other room has
remains of fireplace - part built up, and deep chamfered ceiling beam.
