West lodge to Merton Hall, now private house. Mid C19. Flint with gault brick dressings and corrugated tile roof. One storey and dormer attic. Brick plinth. Two three-light brick cross mullioned casements to ground floor with pediments. Central brick pier. Two gabled dormers through eaves with brick casements and bargeboards. Two similar windows to west wall, ground floor pedimented. Gabled roof with central twin shafted square stack. Mid C20 outshut abuts rear under eaves.
