19/229 Nos 22 and 24

GV II

Two houses in row. Early Cl9. Random rubble limestone; ashlar
chimneys; stone slate roof. Three-storey. Front: No 22 to right
formerly central doorway with range of windows either side, doorway
now in former window position to left, window now in centre. All
formerly sashes, now casements with glazing bars, in original
openings with plain raised surrounds. No 24 to left has 3-window
fenestration, all 16-pane sashes with plain raised surrounds and
floor level bands. Central doorway with C20 door. Three ridge-
mounted chimneys. Interior not inspected.
