Originally 2 cottages.
C17 timber-framed and plastered building with a C18 wing extending to the south.
Renovated. One storey and attics. The centre part of the north front has been
raised to 2 storeys. Modern casement windows. The roof to the main block is
thatched, half hipped at the east end, with an original central chimney stack
with pilastered shafts set diagonally on a square base. Them is also a later
internal stack at the east end. The wing to the south has a tiled mansard roof,
with one dormer on the south side. (RCHM 20).
