GV II*

An early C16 timber-framed and plastered house, jet tied on the 1st storey on
the whole west front, with a moulded and carved bressumer on carved brackets.
The lst storey has exposed timber-framing and the ground storey is partly plastered and partly weatherboarded. 2 storeys. 6 window range, 2 are original windows with oak mullions and lattice leaded lights and 1 has a carved and moulded sill. The others are casements with glazing bars. At the south end there is a cart entrance. Roofs tiled. The building used as a Museum (1972). RCHM (55).
