House, latterly inn, now reverted to domestic use. Early C19 with later
additions and alterations. Red brick; slate roof with wide spreading
eaves and verges and external end stacks. 3 storeys; 5-window front,
16-paned glazing bar sashes with gauged heads, blind to centre on first
floor and windows of reduced proportions to second floor blind and painted
in imitation; right ground-floor window flanked by mid-C19 horned glazing
bar sashes. Central entrance; open-pedimented pilastered doorcase with
panelled reveals, semi-circular fanlight and 6-panel door. Salop Fire
Insurance Plate numbered 14368 to centre on first floor. Low brick
projection to left (former shop) has large C19 windows with tumbled
brick heads flanking central door.
