House. C17. Timberframed and plastered with chevron pargetting
in panels on front - weatherboarded and jettied on N side.
Modern colourwashed brick end wall to S. Gabled thatched roof
with 4 eyebrow dormers along front wallhead. A long one and a
half storeys house facing E. Central chimney one third from S
end. 6 windows and door off-centre to N. Flat topped arcaded
timber modern porch in Jacobean style. 2 and 3-light mullion
wooden windows with rectangular leaded glazing and iron
casements. 2-light dormer windows. Plank door with moulded
battens, heart shaped holds in line. An historic timberframed
house. Part of the High Street group in the middle of the
Conservation Area.
