GV II

House, now two dwellings. Late C17/early C18, extended. Timber frame,
roughcast with some ground floor weatherboarding. Thatch, brick stacks.
Originally lobby entrance plan, 1 storey. Front entrance now blocked
with brick infill. Scattered timber casements: 3 light diamond panes to
The Thatched Cottage and 1 and 2 light lattice panes to Maple Cottage.
Maple Cottage extended to right with stack in gable end wall. Wall
plates visible in this gable. Entrance on garden front. The Thatched
Cottage has a half-hip at end of main range. C19 cross wing extension
built onto left gable wall with entrance porch, dormer and tiled roof.
Interior not inspected.
