Late C18 brick house, roughcast rendered. Thatched roof with coped gable ends.
Two storeys. Three window range. Modern casements except for first floor centre
which is C19 two-light gothic casement. Two modern ground floor canted bays.
Central doorway with rectangular fanlight with intersecting glazing bars, glazed
door and iron trellis porch. End stacks. Gabled wing at rear with thatched
roof forming L-shaped plan.
VCH Northamptonshire Vol II mentions the celebrated Decoy Farm, owned for
many years by a family named Williams. An old wild fowl decoy is situated about
350 yds to the south-east.
