House in row and front garden and passageway walls. Circa mid C19. Stuccoed front
over granite ashlar plinth. Grouted scantle slate roof with projecting eaves at the
front. Brick chimney over party gable, left, and over party wall, right.
Plan: double depth plan with 2 equal rooms at the front flanking on entrance-hall,
leading presumably to a stair hall between rear service rooms. Through passageway
(openway) at far right. Classical style details.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3 window north front, slightly wider on the
right to accommodate a narrow passageway. Doorway central to fenestration. Original
panelled door with overlight and possibly original hornless sashes without glazing
bars. Ground floor has chamfered horizontal rustications. Moulded mid-floor band.
First floor has debased Corinthian pilasters at left and right, moulded eaves cornice
and moulded architraves to the windows.
Interior: not inspected.
Stuccoed garden walls with moulded copings. The side wall and the wall on the right-
hand side of a path leading to the passageway are ramped up to where they meet the
house. The front wall has moulded granite copings. Central ogee-on-plan entrance
with brick piers with pyramidal caps flanking the gateway.
