Farmhouse. Early C19. Coursed squared sandstone with painted dressings and
sandstone quoins. Shallow plinth. stringcourse bands at impost level to around
and first floor windows. Plain eaves band. Slate roof. Stone coped gables with
plain kneelers. Stone gable end stacks, that to east rendered. L-plan, two
storeys, two bays. Central flush doorcase with chamfered edge. C20 boarded
door. To either side, full height glazing bar sashes in plain surrounds. Impost
band stepped up over doorcase Above, two shallower glazing bar sashes, also
in plain surrounds, Between them, painted stone plaque inscribed 'Shirland
Park Farm'. Rear wing has semi-circular headed door and glazing bar sashes.
