3/22 Home Park House

II

House. Early C19 with few later alterations. Rubble, rendered. Hipped 2-span slate
roof with ridge tiles and rendered stacks to ends, rear lateral stack to right.
Plan: central entrance with principal room to front left and right, each of equal
size and heated by an end stack; rear kitchen wing of one-room plan to right, heated
by stack to rear, and rear wing also of one-room plan to left.
Exterior: 2 storeys, symmetrical 3-window range, all 2-light casements with margin
glazing of the early C19. Central 6-panelled door with pilasters and pediment with
modillions, panelled cheeks and soffit to doorway. Attached to left side, a single
storey wing of one-room plan, later C19, with gable end stack to left, 12-pane sash
with margin glazing and half-glazed door to front. Left side of house has C20 window
at ground and first floor to right. Rear has single storey kitchen wing to left with
2-light casement to outer side. 2-storey wing to right has ridge stack at junction
with main building, C20 casement at first floor to inner side.
