House. Early C18 with earlier core, C19 addition refashioned c1970. Coursed squared
gritstone with limestone rubble addition, gritstone dressings and chamfered quoins.
Stone slate roofs with stone gable end stacks and moulded stone coped gables with
moulded kneelers. Plinth, continuous plain bands between storeys and moulded eaves
cornice with raised corners over quoins. Two storeys, plus attics, four bays plus
two bay addition. Moulded doorcase with fluted jambs, bracketed, moulded
stone segmental pediment and C20 panelled door. To south, two 2-light flush mullion
windows with raised fillet to edge of surround. Similar window to north of doorcase.
Above four similar windows. Attic storey blank. To north, recessed addition with
moulded doorcase and C20 panelled door to north. C20 3-light flush mullion window
with raised fillet to edge of surround to south. Above similar window with similar 2-light
window to north. All fenestration C20 casements. 2-light attic window to east
gable wall with dripmould. Rear elevation has advanced bay for staircase with full
height 2-light mullion and double transomed stair window. Interior has large
bracketed stone fireplace to central room, moulded fireplace to southern room and turned
baluster staircase with urn finials.
