Former house, now store. C17, remodelled in the C20 for use as a farm building.
Granite rubble with granite dressings. Corrugated asbestos roof with gable ends.
Plan: Now 1 rectangular room. Originally a 2 room plan. Original C17 fireplace at
the right-hand end, C17 fireplace with oven at the other end.
Exterior: 2 storeys originally. West-south-west front has approximately central
doorway (C18 or C19) and C17 chamfered outer frames of former mullioned windows at
left and right. Old buttress on either side of doorway. No first floor windows
openings visible (possibly blocked).
Interior: Large C17 chamfered granite fireplace at right-hand end and large C18
granite fireplace with domed oven on its left-hand side, at the other end.
Part of a group of C17 and C18 houses on a medieval site. (Stones with traceried
heads recently found).
