Drinking fountain,late C19, set against mid C20 wall. Cast iron and coursed
sandstone rubble. Arched iron slab mounted on wall, with nailhead-
ornamented border and foliate and scroll crestings. Holds drum with spout
above integral semicircular basin. 2 chained cups suspended from ring
above. Integral lettering: "KEEP THE PAVEMENT DRY" in head. Disused at
time of survey.
