SX 36 NE CALLINGTON FORE STREET (south side),

8/24 No 10 (Trevor House) and No 11

GV II

Pair of houses, later Public house and shop and now house and shop with premises
above and to rear. Circa early C19 with circa early C18 wing to rear of number 11.
Stuccoed softwood timber frame with asbestos slate roof with gabled end and deep
overhanging eaves. 3 storeys, 4 window front. Ground floor to left, entrance with
6-panelled door with semi-circular fanlight slightly back, with two 16-pane sashes to
right with small horns and exposed sash boxes. On right early C20 shop front of 3
lights with thin moulded pilasters between. Partly glazed door to right. Moulded
fascia panel above. First floor with mid C19 replacement tripartite sash on left
with moulded cornice on corbelled brackets. To right probably original circa early
C19 bow window of 3 lights with sashes. On second floor four 12-pane sashes (top
light 4-panes) with small horns. Exposed sash boxes. To rear of number 11 on right,
rubblestone wing with large square rubblestone stack in gable end.
