SJ 55 NE SPURSTOW C.P. SPURSTOW

2/64 Green Butts

GV II

Farmhouse, early C19. Red brick in Flemish Bond with tile roof. 2
storeys and attic, 4 bays, "T" shaped plan. Sandstone plinth.
Doorcase with external architraves and plinth blocks, and rectangular
transome light with glazing bars, containing 4-panel bolection moulded
door. There is a gabled porch with side trellis and barge board with
finials. Three-light flush casements with segmental arches. Upper
windows, with glazing bars and cambered arches, in gabled dormers with
barge boards. There is a three-course-deep brick band at first floor
level.
Interior: Chamfered beams, exposed joists and 4-panel doors.
