Late C18 former farmhouse and barn, altered as cottages circa 1800 no doubt
in association with the establishment of the Low Moor Ironworks. Two-storeys,
coursed gritstone with large flush quoins. Stone slate roof, corniced
chimneys. No 13 created in part from former barn. Three light square mullion
windows in squared surrounds. Squared jamb doorways. The barn doorway has
large segmental arch with alternately projecting voussoirs.
