GV II

School with schoolmaster's house, later C19. Coursed squared tooled sandstone. Welsh slate roofs with stone trim. Shallow U-plan with gabled projecting wings. One-storey, 3-bay centre with 1-storey left wing forms the school. 2-storey right wing is master's house. Pent porch, in left bay of centre section, holds Gothic doorway and side lights. Large stone-mullioned and transomed windows, Tudor-arched in left bay. Stone gable copings and carved kneelers. Ridge stack with 4 conjoined octagonal shafts. Right return is 3-bay front of house, with central Tudor-arched door. Upper windows in 3 small gables. 1-storey right extension.
