7/68 Old Stud Farmhouse
House. Mid C19. Coursed gritstone with Westmorland slate roof.
2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows to main block, a lower and narrower
2-storey, l-bay section to right, and a very small single-storey addition in
the angle between the 2 ranges. Main block facade has 4-panel door to right
of centre with heavy incised lintel. Ground and first-floor windows all
have incised lintels, stone sills and recessed 16-pane sashes. The first-
floor, central window opening is longer than others. Right block: ground-
floor window has stone sill and sash with glazing bars, and a 16-pane sash
with plain stone lintel and sill above. The small addition has a sash with
glazing bars with plain stone lintel and sill. Both the 2-storey ranges
have ashlar copings with cyma reversa kneelers. End stacks to main range.
