3 storeys, 3 bays. Central entrance with shell hood over door and moulded archi-
trave. Flanking shop windows c.1970s. First and second floor windows have moulded
architraves and sashes without glazing bars. Modillioned eaves. Fluted rainwater
heads flank central window enscribed I B [John Birbeck] 1777. Late C19 glazed
dormer. 2 ridge stacks. Forms a continuous range with Sidwell's (q.v.). Reputed
to be part of former Golden Lion Inn.
