New Inn

Inn, C17 or early C18 with C19 extension at rear. Pebbledash over stone, and stone
slate roof. Two-storey block with short cross wing. Ground floor has an altered but
nearly continuous dripstone, broken by an unmoulded doorway. Two heavily altered
double chamfered windows are now of 2 and 3 lights. To first floor similar windows of
2 and 1 lights, formerly of 2, 3, 4, 2 and 2 lights. Three chimneys. At rear to
ground floor one 3-light double chamfered mullion window and to first floor one
4-light window of which 2-lights are chamfered.
Inside some exposed beams and 2 chamfered stone jambs to opening betwen main rooms of
ground floor.
