SK 94 NE CARLTON SCROOP SUDBROOK ROAD

4/25 Barn at the Paddocks

Barn; C17 with C19 alterations. Coursed ironstone and limestone rubble
with ashlar quoins and stone coped gables with finials to pantiled roof.
Single storey, 3 bay front. 2 doors, that on right is C19 planked in
plain wood frame, to left is a 3 light window. Left hand double planked
doors. All openings have timber lintels. Interior not inspected.
Steeply pitched pantiled roof with wavy ridge suggests that original
roof survives.
