7/30 "Inglenook"

GV II

Small house. Circa late C18 or early C19 with later C19 addition. Rendered stone
rubble and cob walls. Gable ended asbestos slate roof. 2 gable end stacks : left-
hand one has brick shaft, right-hand one is rubble.
Double depth plan with narrow service rooms at rear of 2 principal heated rooms at
the front divided by a central stairhall. C19 1-room addition behind left-hand
room.
2 storeys. Almost symmetrical 3-window front mainly of early c19 16-pane hornless
sashes. First floor right-hand window is C19 small-paned 2-light casement with a
C20 2-light casement below it. At centre is C19 flat doorhood with shallow cornice
supported at the front on square wooden posts. Mid C19 panelled and glazed door
behind.
