SD 66 NW ROEBURNDALE

2/51 Bellhurst Farmhouse and barn

House, late C17th, and barn, mid C18th. Sandstone rubble with roofs of
slate and stone slate. Central baffle-entry plan. 2 storeys, 4 bays.
Windows have rebated and chamfered surrounds with mullions removed. Door,
to right of 2nd bay, has chamfered surround. Chimneys in line with door
and on right-hand gable. The barn, to the left, has a blocked 2-light
window with flat-faced mullion. Above on the 1st floor is a pitching door.
Further left the front wall is covered by a later lean-to, as is the
left-hand gable wall. Inside, the house has a chamfered firehood
bressumer. On the 1st floor there is plank and muntin panelling.
