Milestone. Probably early C19. Limestone pillar with semi-
circular top, incised lettering to front: MAIDEN BRADLEY (curved
round top) / 3 / FROME / 9. The Mere to Maiden Bradley part of the
Frome to Wincanton road was turnpiked 1754-56.
