Barn. Early-mid C17. Timber framed and weatherboarded on brick
sills, thatched roof. Five bays with aisle to north-west side.
Central cart doors. Wall framing without bressumers but with
tension braces. Internally, jowled posts with curved braces to tie
beam trusses, comprising tall queen struts and collars clasping
chamfered purlins, and raking struts to lower unchamfered butt
purlins. Trusses number from north-east end and include some
reused timber. To rear, three 16-pane inserted sash windows.
Attached to south-west end, 2 bays of stores with tallet over, and
third open bay, under extension of a lower thatched roof hipped at
end.
