3/71 Pembroke Cottage
with attached boundary wall

Detached cottage. Circa 1700. Rendered rubble stone, thatched
roof, gable end brick stacks. Single storey and attic, 3-windowed;
entrance front now to rear. C20 glazed door and 2-light casement
to left, 1-light and 2-light casement to right. Eaves raised and
boarded C19; row of small 2-light casements. North front facing
road has fixed window in blocked doorway and 4-light casement to
right, attic with 2-light and 3-light casements. Attached to west
return is rendered extension with 4-panelled door and double Roman
tiled roof, to north is good length of cob wall with thatched
capping, about 10 metres long. Interior has open fireplace with
chamfered lintel on stone jambs, chamfered beam with ogee stops.
