Detached cottage. Late C18. English bond brick, tiled roof with
gable end brick stacks. Two-storey, 3-window. Central gabled
porch with planked door, 2-light segmental-headed casement either
side. First floor has 2-light segmental-headed casement left and
right of single-light casement. Stepped brick eaves. Attached to
right and left are brick and flint single-storey extensions with
planked doors. Pair of rear wings have half-hipped tiled roofs,
planked doors and 2-light casements.Interior not accessible at
time of survey (March 1986). Example of a little altered
agricultural workers cottage on the downs.
