SU 36 NE KINTBURY NEWBURY STREET (north side)

12/34 Nos 30 and 32 (White Lodge)

Two cottages now one house. Early C17 with C18 and 19 additions. Brick,
painted render, timber frame with brick and render infill panels, tiled
roofs half hipped on No. 30. L plan. 1½ storeys No.30 and 2 storeys No.32
(White Lodge). South Elevation: No. 30 to left. 2 gabled dormers at eaves
level chimney to right near junction with No.32, 2 light casement to left
central door in cambered headed opening 3 light casement to right, brick
front. No.32 to right, rendered 2 storeys, 2 cross glazed sashes with
exposed frames on first floor, C20 glazed lean to porch on left and
glazing bar sash with exposed frame to right. Rear and side of No. 30
has exposed timber framing.
