13/2 Well house Farmhouse

Farmhouse, now large house. Late C18, altered and extended C19 and C20.
Vitreous brick with red brick dressings, old tile hipped roofs with flat
roof in centre. Double depth plan, C20 closed porch extension on west.
2 storeys and attics, chimneys on rear roof slope. Rendered plinth, over-
sailing brick eaves. Windows mostly 2-light casements with leaded lights,
with segmental heads. West front:- 7 irregular bays and a blocked
opening on the ground floor south end; entrance porch to right of centre.
South front:- 3 bays, 2 on first floor blocked with 2-light casement in
centre; 2 sash windows with glazing bars on ground floor and one blocked
on the right. On the east front, there is an old Phoenix fire insurance
plaque no.6625 on the wall below first floor cill level, fourth bay from
left. Interior:- cast iron fireplaces on ground and first floors, some
with Delft tiles on first floor.
