Farmhouse. Early C19. Coursed squared Coal Measures Sandstone
with ashlar dressings, coped gables with moulded kneelers, and
ashlar gable and ridge stacks. Welsh slate roof. West
elevation of L-shaped range 2 storeys and 3 bays. Symmetrical
front, with a central doorway within a massive flush stone
frame. 6-panelled door, with rectangular overlight with margin
lights. Flanking the doorway are 8 x 8 glazing bar sashes
within flush stone frames. At first-floor level there are 3
glazing bar sashes which match the ground floor examples. The
rear range is of 3 bays, and is similarly detailed with
glazing bar sash windows. Some ground-floor windows have been
altered and now have C20 joinery.
